History and Beginnings

Bernie started in the financial services industry in 1994 when he joined Investors Group. In December 2001 he founded Krueckl Financial Services Inc. Bernie’s background as a City of Calgary police officer and business operator has provided him with life skills that compliment the financial planning process

His early education took place in a small town in Saskatchewan. He completed his high school diploma at St. Thomas College in North Battleford and moved on to the University of Saskatchewan. Bernie holds a level II Live Insurance Agent’s license and has his Certified Senior Advisor (CSA) designation.

Bernie is married to Marlene. They have four children and eight grandchildren. They have a family cottage called “The Wobbly Boot” which provides great fun, great fishing and much quality time with the children and the grandchildren.

In 2005 Bernie and Marlene built and moved into a new home at 2608 Columbia Avenue in Castlegar which also houses the offices of Krueckl Financial Services Inc.
